Hi, I’m Madeleine—a Pilates instructor, movement enthusiast, and the heart behind Happy Place Pilates.
I grew up on the South Shore, always drawn to the ocean and its sense of movement—fluid yet strong, much like Pilates itself. My journey with Pilates began during my recovery from a hip fracture, an injury I sustained while running a marathon after months of training. In the aftermath, I craved a form of movement that felt both empowering and restorative. What started as a way to heal quickly became my passion, leading me to train with some of the best mentors in the field and become a Balanced Body-certified instructor.
With a background in mental health counseling, I believe that movement is more than just physical—it’s a powerful tool for self-care, confidence, and overall well-being. My teaching blends classical and contemporary Pilates, ensuring both dynamic and mindful sessions tailored to meet you where you are.
Whether you're looking to build strength, improve mobility, or simply carve out time for yourself, my goal is to help you feel good in your body and confident in your movement. Pilates transformed my life, and I can’t wait to share that transformation with you!
